AVIO Productions Receives two Telly Awards in 2009.

AVIO Productions is proud to announce that they have recieved two Telly Awards for projects produced in 2008.
"Thank You" a music video created as part of a behind-the-scenes look at "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" in Wilmington, DE received the covetted Silver Telly, the highest honor. The video was a collaboration between AVIO, Anderson Homes, Aloysius Butler & Clark, the city of Wilmington and Antonio Earl. Antonio, the eldest son of the Latif family of Wilmington wanted to thank all the workers and volunteers that built his family's new home through the artform he loved the most, music. Antonio wrote and composed the song and AVIO Productions along with Brad Thompson of Segami Media directed, choreographed, and edited the finished video.
AVIO Productions also recieved a bronze Telly for "The Adventures of Super Chipper," which was created as part of Herr Foods, Inc's 2008 Business Review. This humorous take on super heroes was written and directed by Brian Bernas and had a cast comprised almost entirely of Herr Foods' employees. This marks the 4th Telly that AVIO and Herr's have been awarded for a video starring the snack food maker's furry mascot.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (Wilmington, De.)
When Anderson Homes was contacted by ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Anderson Homes Contacted AVIO Productions to document the project from start to finish. The task wasn't easy, demolish two homes in downtown Wilmington, Delaware, rebuild both house and bring back two deserving families all within the span of a week.
PointBlank Body Armor: Protect and Serve
Impact. There is no other was to describe this suspenseful peace. PointBlank Body Armor was looking for something quick, realistic, and raw to grab the attention of customers to promote their products. This introductory segment was, written and directed by the AVIO team.

From The Top of the Fret
A collaborative effort between Stephen Housden and Jim Malatesta, CEO of Vision 4 Music to document the history of Rock N' Roll's most prominent instrument, the electric guitar. The preliminary shoot featured twelve distinguished guitar players demonstrating techniques, musical styles and discussing their inspirations.
Aimee Mayo: This One's for the Girls
Aimee Mayo is an award winning songwriter and has written such hits as Amazed (Lonestar), Breathe (Faith Hill), and This One's for the Girls (Martina McBride).
